Description
The Chaney’s started with a vision to serve people good food. Mr. & Mrs. Chaney, along with their two daughters and their son opened the doors to Hometown Restaurant in January of 2017. Most of the recipes were just family recipes, which means they cooked to taste just like they did at home. All the while keeping the backbone of the business focused on Christian morals and Biblical principles.
Since then, Hometown Restaurant has grown slightly in size and greatly in customers, but the basis has stayed exactly the same. Given that we rely mainly on “word-of-mouth”, our customers are our greatest form of advertisement. We have succeeded not only locally because of loyal customers, but have also developed a following of out-of-towners.
We start each day making everything we possibly can from scratch. We roll out our dough by hand and all of our chicken, pork, and beef is brought in fresh, cut by hand, and cooked right on site. Our stoves and ovens burn all day long to ensure that no matter what time you join us, you will consistently have the freshest most enjoyable experience we can offer.
When you walk in our doors you will notice we sit our guests “FAMILY STYLE.” We feel there is nothing more comforting and southern than sitting among friends and neighbors and sharing good stories and great food.
