JEKYLL ISLAND BIG BAND
The Jekyll Island Big Band holds a place in the history of Georgia’s favorite get away spot. Formed in 1979, this classic ballroom band has entertained not only on Jekyll Island, but throughout the southeast. It has been featured on Georgia Public Radio, in Georgia Music Magazine and numerous newspaper features. Under the direction of Dr. Hal Crowe, the 15 piece Jekyll Island Big Band performs Swing and Dance Standards that are timeless and exhilarating to ballroom dancers. Whether desiring to Foxtrot, Samba, Waltz or Tango, this is the orchestra that delivers. This year marks there 40th anniversary.
